BAGHDAD / NINA / Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said, "We will not allow
bringing down the political process or the return of the Baath party
    again to rule the country."

He said in a speech today 24, Feb at
the University of Basra and in the presence of a gathering of professors
and university students "I tell you frankly will not allow the return
of the Baath and terrorism, which hurt Iraqis before its fall or through
the last period when backed terror."

    He added that "Iraq cannot
be built by sectarianism, because it is the homeland for everyone and no
one takes advantage of sectarianism, but the problem is that we did not
hear a single condemnation to the mass graves or chemical weapons or
other Baath's crimes, which brought the country to this situation."

    He
also said "that some do not condemn what Iraq had passed through and
wants to cancel accountability and justice for whitening the rule of
Ba'ath regime and al-Qaeda and terrorism."

    On the demonstrations
and sit-ins, he explained that "most of the demonstrators are simple and
they are our brothers, and do not have foreign agendas and some of
their demands are legitimate, but other are in contrary with the
Constitution, and we will not allow others, who are disappeared behind
and lurking to pass their demands to cancel the Constitution."

    Regarding
Iraq's relations with different countries, Maliki made it clear that
"Iraq today is Iraq of love and brotherhood not Iraq of wars and bombs
and our deal with others on the basis of our interest not for the
benefit of others and Iraq today is Iraq of friendship and cooperation."

    He
assured everyone not to fear from Iraq's today, which is based on
non-interference in the affairs of others and will not allow others to
    interfere in its affairs.

He stressed that "There are differences
in the world but they do not use in this language, in which agencies
and various media mock them. / End
