On Saturday (April 3, 2021), Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein announced the details of the talks with his Swiss counterpart Ignazio Cassis, including "frozen Iraqi funds", and the opening of the Swiss embassy in Baghdad.
Hussein said during a joint press conference followed by  IQ NEWS , "I am happy with the historic visit of the Swiss Foreign Minister to Baghdad," noting that the two countries discussed "bilateral relations in various fields."
