{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Parliamentary Economic and Investment Committee is preparing to present the mineral investment law to the Presidency of Parliament in order to include it on the agenda for the first and second readings.

Committee member Nada Shaker Jawdat said in a press interview, "The law has been completed by 90%, and it is a law that deals with how to invest all minerals in the country, except for oil that is covered by a special law."
She added, "The law has been working on it continuously, and those concerned with it have been hosted by geologists and others."
Jawdat indicated that, "like all other laws, it collides with the opinions of the political blocs, and we seek to mature it and come up with a formula that satisfies everyone."
