, Advisor to the Prime Minister, Hussein Allawi, confirmed, on Friday, that support from the American side will be limited in the future to training.
Allawi said, in a televised statement, that "the technical committee will work according to the results of the strategic dialogue in its third phase, which went to reduce the number of advisers and the absence of combat forces in Iraq."
He added, "The support from the American side will be limited in the future to training."
Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi agreed with the Commander of the US Central Command, General Kenneth McKinsey, earlier, to hold the first session of the Specialized Technical Committee, in order to develop mechanisms for implementing the outcomes of the third round of the strategic dialogue.
