The Minister of Agriculture, Muhammad Al-Khafaji, announced today, Sunday, that 50% of the farmers' dues will be paid to the barley and rice crops, stressing that the directive has been given to overcome the obstacles related to renting agricultural lands .
Al-Khafaji said during his visit to the Governorate of Al-Muthanna and his meeting with the local government, the Directorate of Agriculture and representatives of farmers, and attended by the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "50% of the farmers' dues will be paid to the barley and rice crops, and the remainder after the Ministry of Finance has paid." Sprinkler irrigation systems and rotation of a number of other governorates systems in Muthanna. "
He added, "Investment contracts are the only way for the success of the agricultural sector in the province and its development through investment in the livestock sector and agricultural projects, and we look forward to entering very large companies in the coming months to invest in the agricultural sector." He said al - Khafaji said , "will be reconsidered in the land allocated engineers, doctors , veterinary and facilitate the granting of loans to them " ,
Noting that "the modern village project needs more efforts to deliver electric power."
