Only 40% of oil revenues entered the treasury of the regional government last month

Out of a total of one trillion and 114 billion dinars, it is the origin of the oil revenues generated for the month of last May, only (40%) of which went to the treasury of the regional government.
Al-Sabah Al-Jadeed obtained a report by one of the centers concerned with auditing the revenues of the regional government, indicating that the regional government obtained during the past month the amount of one trillion and 114 billion dinars in oil revenues, of which only 40 percent entered the region’s treasury, and that the regional government except for its inability to distribute salaries As for the employees, the majority of the revenues it obtains from selling oil, fees and customs, its fate is still unknown until now.
The report clarified that the total realized revenues that entered the treasury of the regional government for the previous month were as follows, the internal revenues, from the Sulaymaniyah governorate, which amounted to (101 billion) dinars, 52 billion of which were handed over to the regional government. As for oil revenues, the regional government sold oil. At $58 per barrel, while SOMO Company sold a barrel of oil at $65, the price of a barrel of oil in global markets is $72 per barrel.
The Kurdistan region sells daily through the region’s oil pipeline about 430 thousand barrels, excluding the oil produced for internal uses, and if we calculate the price of a barrel at (58) dollars, the total amount of the region’s revenues from the sale of oil only amounts to (748) million and (200) thousand dollars, and from With this percentage, only 300 million dollars were handed over to the treasury of the Ministry of Finance in the regional government, and if we add to the revenues from oil sales during the past month, 313 billion dinars, which is the total internal revenues achieved, and 25 billion dinars is the aid provided by the coalition countries to the Peshmerga forces, then The total amount will be one trillion and 114 billion dinars in total revenues achieved, while the region needs an amount of 706 billion dinars to secure the salaries of its employees, according to the decision to deduct 21% of the salaries of the employees that have continued so far, without a document or law enacted by the parliament of the region.
