    {Local: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works completed more than 100 projects in various sectors and formations, within one year of the current government's life, while the Ministry, through the Housing Fund, provided more than 12,000 loans to citizens.

    The media center of the ministry confirmed, in a press interview, that "from the first moment of the launch of the ministerial curriculum for the government of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, the ministry has prepared a strategy to activate the axes of the ministerial curriculum and to employ all the capabilities available to it, whether material or moral, to achieve the priorities of the curriculum and the axes of work and its paragraphs that are commensurate with the tasks and the Ministry’s activities, and some of the Ministry’s formations have obtained the Quality Management System (ISO) certificate in several categories and classifications.
    A year after the launch of the ministerial curriculum for the period from 1/5/2020 to 1/5/2021, the ministry, through its formations, accomplished many projects, as follows: the roads and bridges sector 26 projects, the buildings sector 10 projects, while it completed three projects in the sewage sector Projects, the Housing Fund provided 12,154 loans to citizens, the water sector had six projects, the municipality sector provided fifteen projects during the aforementioned period, while the engineering consultancy provided six designs, the urban planning sector provided 14 projects, and the ministry companies provided 36 projects for other employers.
    And the center stated, "The ministry includes many formations that supervise the implementation of projects in various sectors, which are included in its investment plans (roads and bridges, water, sewage, housing, buildings, public municipalities), and it also includes a number of public companies specialized in project implementation. In various sectors (Hammurabi, Ashur, Al-Mu’tasim, Al-Faw, Saad, Rashid, Al-Farouq, Al-Mansour), as well as a number of departments specialized in preparing designs and supervising projects (National Center for Engineering Consultation, Engineering Construction Department, Public Works and Maintenance Department), and it also includes The National Center for Construction Laboratories and its branches in all governorates.
