Al-Kazemi: We received international support to hold the October elections

{Political: Al Furat News} Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi confirmed, today, Saturday, during the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and National Partnership, that Iraq has received international support for holding the October elections.
At the beginning of his speech, Al-Kazemi welcomed the countries participating in the conference, noting that "the holding of the Baghdad conference embodies Iraq's vision for the necessity of establishing the best relations with the world."
The Prime Minister said, "Iraq has faced great challenges in various fields, and we pledged to the people to restore Iraq's leadership role," stressing that "Iraq refuses to use its territory for regional and international conflicts."
And Al-Kazemi stated, "The people of Iraq defeated ISIS and it was a victory with the help of neighbors and the international coalition," adding: "We sensed an international seriousness in supporting investment in Iraq and we opened the door to receiving investment companies," stressing that "Iraq is looking forward to achieving economic partnerships in the Baghdad conference." .
He added: "Sistani's meeting with the Pope represents a qualitative leap in tolerance and brotherhood."
Al-Kazemi pointed out that "Iraq seeks to activate projects and restore life in all of Iraq's cities."
He pointed out that "Iraq asked the international community to support the October elections," and extended: "We received international support for holding the October elections, and there is no return to non-democratic paths."
