Oil prices jumped, on Friday, extending their gains, after OPEC + announced that it will review its plans to increase production before its next scheduled meeting if the new strain of the Corona virus, Omicron, weakens demand.
Brent crude futures rose 12 cents, or 0.2 percent, to $69.79 a barrel.
US West Texas Intermediate crude futures also rose 27 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $66.77 a barrel. Ended 29/A4
