    {Political: Al Furat News} The leader of the Progress Alliance, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, arrived in Erbil today, Saturday, to arrange positions before the first parliament session to be held tomorrow, Sunday.
    An informed source told {Euphrates News}, "Al-Halbousi arrived in Erbil for the purpose of conducting dialogues with the Kurdish political forces in order to arrange positions and unify them before the first sessions of the Iraqi parliament."
    He added, "The visit also came for the purpose of agreeing to name the new council president and his two deputies, and the issue of alliances in order to form the largest bloc."
    On Sunday, Iraqis are waiting for the first session of the new parliament in its fifth legislative session after 2003, after the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, called for the session to be held on the ninth of January.
