{Local: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Health confirmed, today, Sunday, that it possesses a large abundance of anti-Coronavirus vaccines.
The director of immunization at the ministry, Firas al-Moussawi, said that "the number of vaccinated people has now exceeded 14 million, including more than 8 million and 668 thousand vaccinated with one dose, and 5 million and 800 thousand vaccinated with two doses."
He pointed out that "there is a large abundance of vaccines in stores, as Iraq has contracted more than 40 million doses, of which 20 million doses have arrived so far."
Al-Moussawi added that "the number of vaccinated 12-year-olds (school students) reached 400,000 as a first dose, and 130,000 as a second dose."

Its capabilities are to provide vaccines established by the World Health Organization to repel epidemic waves, so citizens should invest in this and take vaccination to mitigate the negative effects of mutant mutations.
And Al-Moussawi stated, "Iraq has mechanisms, follow-up and evaluation of tests by providing the latest laboratory equipment to diagnose the type of mutants."
