[size=45][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The former representative of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Rizan Sheikh Diler, revealed, on Sunday, a constitutional violation in the nomination of Hoshyar Zebari to take over the presidency, indicating that Zebari was sacked because of corruption files and his candidacy for any position cannot be accepted.
Sheikh Dler said in a statement, "Our candidate for the presidency is still Barham Salih, and we are counting on the current political understandings and discussions in Baghdad in order to pass our candidate, and there are no signs of a breakthrough with the Kurdistan Democratic Party."
And she added, "The Kurdistan Democratic candidate, Hoshyar Zebari, is threatened because of his dismissal earlier on charges of corruption.
Dler explained that "it is possible to appeal to the Federal Supreme Court if he is elected to the post of President of the Republic," noting that "Shiite and Sunni forces cannot pass a candidate accused of corruption just because of political understandings." End / 25 D[/size]
