There has been cautious optimism in the political scene in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, based on the recent initiative of the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, to send a joint delegation from the regional government and the "Parti" Democratic Party to Sulaymaniyah for a dialogue that would persuade the Deputy Prime Minister of the Regional Government, Qubad Talabani. And the ministers of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan "Yakti" to end their boycott and return to practicing cabinet sessions effectively without a "formal presence" in their ministries to manage the citizens' demands.
An informed source in the Parliament of the Kurdistan region revealed to "Al-Sabah" that "the two parties, the Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union, are closer to conducting dialogues and breaking up the gravel of problems," due to considerations that the source considered "important, foremost of which stands their partnership in the government, parliament and the security issue," pointing out that "The National Union has conditions before returning to cabinet sessions and ending the estrangement."
In this regard, a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Ashwaq Al-Jaf, said in an interview with "Al-Sabah": "The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, always initiates strategic projects that serve the people of the region, as well as in solving any possible problem facing the region," pointing out that " Within the framework of government work, Barzani believes in the work of one team, and he asked the brothers in the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan to return to their ministerial and governmental work to serve the citizens.
