    Information/Baghdad..
The deputy of Basra province, Ali Abdul Sattar, revealed, on Monday, that parliamentary questions were asked by the province’s deputies to the caretaker government.
Abdul Sattar said in a statement to "Al-Maalouma", "The caretaker government is awaiting parliamentary questions to find out the reasons for extending an oil pipeline from Basra to Aqaba."
He added that "this issue will be put on the parliament table during the upcoming sessions to obtain a convincing answer to the representatives of Basra and the Iraqi people regarding the economic feasibility of the project to extend an oil pipeline."
Abdel-Sattar indicated that "in the event that the competent authorities do not respond, they will expose themselves to legal accountability, and perhaps to interrogation within the House of Representatives."
And the representative of the Coordination Framework, Ibtisam Al-Hilali, had warned earlier that extending an oil pipeline to Aqaba may expose Mustafa Al-Kazemi’s outgoing government to legal accountability. finished / 25 h
