[size=45]The Federal Supreme Court of Iraq announced, on Wednesday, the date for the pleading regarding the lawsuit filed against the presidential candidate Hoshyar Zebari.[/size]
[size=45]And it stated in a brief statement, that it "set next Sunday as the date for the pleading regarding the lawsuit filed against accepting the candidacy of Hoshyar Zebari, numbered (17 federal)".[/size]
[size=45]A few days ago, the Federal Supreme Court of Iraq decided to stop the procedures for the candidacy of Hoshyar Zebari, by the Kurdistan Democratic Party, for the position of President of the Republic of Iraq "temporarily".[/size]
[size=45]Iraqi politicians challenged the court's candidacy of the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Hoshyar Zebari, for the position of President of the Republic of Iraq, due to his dismissal in 2016 by the House of Representatives on charges of "corruption".[/size]
[size=45]It is noteworthy that Zebari is the most prominent competitor to the current Iraqi President, Barham Salih, who is seeking to extend his term as President of the Republic of Iraq.[/size]
