Detachments of the Baghdad Anti-Crime Directorate, Al-Mansour Office for Combating Crime, were able to arrest a suspect for forging a real estate deed worth 3 billion dinars within the Al-Mansour area and selling it to a citizen.
The directorate stated, in a statement that Al-Nour News received a copy of, that "the investigation papers of the accused were presented before the eyes of the investigative judge and decided to arrest him in accordance with the provisions of Articles 289 and 298 of the Penal Code."
In a related context, the Jerusalem Anti-Crime Bureau detachments arrested a suspect for having carried out several thefts of motorbikes, the number of which amounted to 11 thefts within the sector of responsibility.
The statement pointed out, “The defendant’s confession statements were written down and were judicially ratified, and the investigative judge decided to arrest him in accordance with the provisions of Article 444 of the Penal Code to obtain his just punishment.”
