    Baghdad - conscious
Independent MP Adnan Al-Jabri confirmed today, Saturday, that no agreement was reached on naming the heads of the parliamentary committees and their members.
Al-Jabri told Al-Iraqiya Al-Akhbariya, and the Iraqi News Agency (INA) followed it, "We expect that the attendance of the representatives for next Monday's session will be greater than the previous one because of the committee formation file.
He added, "The independent representatives will participate strongly in the new parliamentary committees, given that the House of Representatives in its current fifth session witnessed a qualitative addition to the independents, who are an essential component of the political and legislative process, and they will have a good share of the committees."
He pointed out that "the number of independent representatives is not insignificant and cannot be neglected or not placed in committees. There are many negotiations and the independents impose their conditions within the independent Iraq bloc, and they stipulated that the winning blocs give them the right to participate by naming the Prime Minister-designate to enter the largest bloc."
He stressed that "the House of Representatives' tendency towards the duty to form committees is better than waiting for an agreement on naming the President of the Republic, as the House of Representatives has tasks that should not be disrupted."
Regarding the file of hosting Finance Minister Ali Allawi in the session, Al-Jabri explained that “in the event the minister attends, we expect a heated session, as many deputies would like to ask important questions, especially with regard to the application of the constitutional articles related to strengthening the national economy according to modern methods, as well as the file of increasing the value of the dollar against the dinar.” ".
With regard to disciplinary penalties against absent deputies and those who failed to take the oath, Al-Jabri said, "The legislative authority needs the presence of deputies, and the absence of some of them means the absence of the voice of those who elected them."
The agenda for Monday's session, according to a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) earlier, will include the swearing in of the constitutional oath of some deputies, as well as the formation of the permanent parliamentary committees of the House of Representatives, in addition to a public invitation to discuss the rise in dollar exchange rates in the presence of the Minister of Finance.
