, Kirkuk Governor Rakan Saeed al-Jubouri identified, on Sunday, the reasons for the scarcity of fuel and the decrease in the hours of supplying electric power in the province.
Al-Jubouri told the official news agency, "The ministries of oil and electricity bear the responsibility of the crisis in the province due to the lack of fuel and the high prices of electricity supply through private generators, as the price of the ampere exceeded 15,000 dinars, which burdens the citizen."
He added, "The hours of supplying the province with electrical energy do not exceed 10 hours, and Kirkuk are among the provinces that contribute to equipping the Ministry of Electricity with energy, so the ministry must increase the hours of processing."
The governor attributed the reason for the queues in the preservation of oil derivatives to the significant shortage in the quota set for the governorate,” appealing to Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to intervene to solve the electricity and fuel problems in Kirkuk. Ended 29/R77
