    Earth News/ The Minister of Transport, Captain Nasser Hussein Bandar Al-Shibli, participated, today, Wednesday, as a representative of Iraq, in the meeting of the general assembly of the three-pole Arab Bridge Navigation Company for its founders Iraq, Egypt and Jordan, held in the sister state of Egypt, to discuss the 2021 budget in the presence of the Egyptian Minister of Transport (Lt. General Kamel Al-Wazir ) and the Jordanian Minister, (Wajeeh Azaiza), in addition to the company's board of directors.
    And the Minister of Transport explained in a statement received by Earth News, that “the meeting focused on discussing the 2021 budget, in which the broad lines of the company’s work and implementation mechanisms were set, as the association reviewed the company’s activity, business and financial results during the last period, as well as the procedures and mechanisms that were taken to develop and improve the services provided and the possibility of Opening markets and the possibility of exploiting the surplus number of units by leasing them, after submitting a study of the economic return for that.”
    He added, "During the meeting, it was emphasized the depth of the joint relationship between the three poles and the focus on increasing cooperation and trade exchange between the three countries (Iraq - Egypt - Jordan) and all Arab countries."
    And the minister indicated that “proposals were presented for the success of work during the current year 2022, the most important of which is activating the company’s advertising and promotional activity with achieving leadership in maritime transport and the automated reservation system for passengers with the use of modern methods of booking trucks to work in ports.”
    The Minister of Transport stated that “the Arab Bridge Company has achieved great profits and seeks to achieve an increase in tourism activity during the current and next year,” noting that “the company’s tendency to focus on quantitative activity primarily through increasing the number of passengers, cars, buses and trucks.”
    It is noteworthy that the Arab Bridge Navigation Company is managed by an executive management whose members are named by the board of directors from the three founding countries. The Arab Bridge Navigation is considered one of the leading navigation companies in the region due to the practical experience and professionalism of its management team, which contributed to achieving outstanding results.
