Earth News/ Mahmoud Khoshnaw, a member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, confirmed today, Sunday, that the Democratic Party is strengthening the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, to remove the Patriotic Union and make the political scene unique.
Khoshnaw said in an interview with Earth News, "We believe that the previous political elections must achieve the constitutional text with their timing," stressing that "the political forces must adopt a permanent positive dialogue, leave aside the factional and partisan differences, and return to the balances that preserved the political system and access methods." to the constitutional texts.
Khoshnaw added that “it is not permissible to adhere to a certain way to remove the partners, for example, the Kurdistan Democratic Party is trying to strengthen the tripartite alliance and the leader of the Sadrist movement Muqtada al-Sadr to remove the union and take over the scene,” stressing that “this is not possible considering the Patriotic Union is a historical party and has an effective interim presence.” .
He pointed out that "it is better to return to political balances and rely on the understanding between the coordination framework and the Sadrist movement to reach a common vision that can be achieved through reaching a breakthrough in this political closure."
Khoshnaw indicated that "the National Union was and still confirms the understanding of the political forces from the first moment, and the speeches of the Union from the panel of speakers were clear and we did not incline to one side at the expense of another."
It is noteworthy that the political forces continue their discussions and moves to form alliances within Parliament, while the House of Representatives failed to hold a session to elect the President of the Republic due to the lack of a quorum.
