A member of the Kurdistan Regional Parliament, Diary Anwar, confirmed on Sunday that the region's parliament will not accept the agreement to sell the region's gas to Turkey.

Anwar said in an interview with the "Information Agency" that "the region's gas is a national wealth and is not a private property of the Democratic Party and the Barzani family."
He added that "signatures will be collected to prevent the sale of the region's gas to Turkey, and we will not agree to this agreement at all, because it is considered a theft of the region's goods, and the federal government must intervene quickly to prevent its completion."
And criticism was directed at the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, for his conclusion of agreements related to natural gas with Turkey, despite the recent decision of the Federal Court.
