Al-Maliki Confirms His Rejection Of Attempts To Influence The Judiciary And Exploit The File Of The Politically Wanted

Earth News/ Head of the State of Law Coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, affirmed today, Sunday, his rejection of all attempts to influence the judiciary and exploit the file of politically wanted persons.
Al-Maliki said in a statement, received by Earth News, that "recently it was noticed that the file of those wanted by the judiciary was exploited for the purposes of political bidding and accusations of one party or that."
And he added, "Out of a sense of responsibility and an affirmation of our firm positions of the necessity of preserving the rights of martyrs and victims of criminal terrorism, we renew our categorical denial and non-interference in this file and our rejection of any attempts aimed at influencing the judiciary. We also renew our confidence in the Iraqi judiciary and its commitment to justice and not to be influenced by whims and political fluctuations."
Al-Maliki added, "On this occasion, we call upon all media outlets and activists at the media and political levels to investigate accuracy and not launch charges without evidence."
