Kurdistan Regional Government begins a project of 20 thousand housing units for people with limited income
Shafaq News/ The Investment Authority of Kurdistan Region announced, on Wednesday, a project to build 20,000 housing units for low-income people and tenants in all regions and cities of the region.
The head of the authority, Muhammad Shukri, said in a press conference held today and attended by Shafak News Agency correspondent, that "on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, it was decided to build 20,000 housing units that will be given to tenants and people with limited income at reasonable prices and comfortable installments."
He added that this project includes the four governorates and the four independent administrations in the region, adding that reputable companies in the region have been asked to submit their plans to build these housing units, and within 15 days the lands that will be allocated for building these housing units will be determined.
The head of the commission stressed that the housing units will be distributed to those who are unable to obtain housing units because of their limited income.
