After the official reception ceremony, the two sides held a meeting in which they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and joint cooperation in various fields. They also discussed a number of basic issues of common interest, especially with regard to the regional situation, where it was emphasized that support for the armistice in Yemen and the strengthening of efforts to stop the war and establish Peace there, and a peaceful solution to the crisis in Yemen.
