Baghdad / Obelisk: Representative of the Coordination Framework, Rafiq Al-Salihi, confirmed, on Sunday, July 3, 2022, that the General Authority for the Coordination Framework will have reservations about announcing the name of the person it will choose to head the next government, indicating that the reservation will continue until the Kurds agree or vote on the President of the Republic.
Al-Salihi said in a statement followed by the obelisk that the coordination framework has finished defining the specifications of the next prime minister, and before the General Authority for the coordination framework a number of candidates by the Shiite political forces to choose a specific personality after they match the specifications that have been set.
He added, that the General Authority for the Coordination Framework will have reservations about announcing the name that will be chosen from among the candidates for the position of Prime Minister until the Kurds resolve the crisis over naming the President of the Republic.
And the representative of the State of Law coalition, Alia Nassif, confirmed in a statement that the framework forces had finished defining the parameters and specifications for choosing the prime minister, noting that the framework would discuss the names of the candidates for the position in order to agree on a specific personality that matches the specifications.
