A member of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Ali Al-Fatlawi, confirmed that the candidacy for the position of prime minister is open to everyone and is not limited to the framework personalities only, pointing to the possibility of independent personalities running for this position if they are accepted and the criteria apply to them.
Al-Fatlawi said during a press statement, "The coordination framework set a set of criteria and specifications for choosing the next prime minister, the most important of which are integrity, strength, courage, intelligence, wisdom, will and management to get Iraq out of its crises."
He added, "Any person who enjoys the aforementioned specifications, can obtain acceptance of the coordination framework, and it is possible to obtain the presidency of the government and take charge of matters and management of the coming period."
And he indicated that "the coordinating framework will put in its accounts more than one person to head the government, including independent personalities, in order to match the standards and conditions required for the names presented, as the presidency of the Council of Ministers will be entrusted to the person who meets the conditions, whether from within the framework or from independent personalities."
