The Minister of Interior, Othman Al-Ghanimi, announced, on Tuesday, that he obtained the approval of the Council of Ministers to fill the deficit with the salaries of workers at the Ministry's headquarters.
A ministry statement, which Mawazine News received a copy of, stated, "Resolute efforts by the Minister of Interior, Othman Al-Ghanimi, resulted in obtaining the approval of the honorable Council of Ministers to fill the deficit that occurred in the salaries of officers, employees and employees of the Ministry of Interior headquarters."
The statement pointed out that Al-Ghanimi directed the necessity of returning the sum deducted from the salaries of last June during the next two days.
For its part, the Directorate of Administrative and Financial Affairs has initiated the necessary procedures to return the withheld amounts, and has set a timetable for this as directed by the Minister. Ended 29/R77
