    The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, expressed his welcome to the visit of US President Joe Biden to the Middle East, and his hope to protect the constitutional rights of the Kurdistan Region within a federal Iraq, calling on him not to forget the sacrifices of the Kurdish people in fighting terrorism.

    Masrour Barzani, in a tweet, today, Friday (July 15, 2022), welcomed the visit of US President Joe Biden to the region, asking him not to forget the sacrifices of the Kurdish people in fighting terrorism and protecting the constitutional rights of the Kurdistan Region, within a federal Iraq.

    Masrour Barzani posted on his Twitter account, "I very much welcome US President Joe Biden's visit to the Middle East," adding: "I hope that the Kurdish people's sacrifices in fighting terrorism will not be forgotten in their discussions, and I hope that the constitutional rights of Iraqi Kurdistan will be recognized and protected."

    Masrour Barzani continued: "I remember that we had discussions with President Biden years ago, and President Biden played a role in acquiring the achievements of the Kurdish people after 2003."

    It is noteworthy that US President Joe Biden is on a current visit to the Middle East, which he started from Israel.

    Joe Biden is scheduled to meet Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas today, Friday, in Bethlehem, and Joe Biden is scheduled to go later to Saudi Arabia, as part of his current visit to the Middle East.
