After the audio recordings, Al-Maliki tweets: "The crowd is the nation of the Mujahideen."
Shafaq News/ The head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, confirmed on Sunday that the Popular Mobilization and its heroes and leaders, the "Nation of the Mujahideen", after a series of leaked audio recordings attributed to al-Maliki.
Al-Maliki wrote, in a tweet to him on Twitter, that "the crowd, its heroes and leaders, the nation of the mujahideen, the martyrs, the free and the great hope," adding: "Since the first day of its formation, I have been one of the supporters and supporters of it, and we have stood in the face of all attempts that were targeting it."
He added, "Not all counterfeiting and fabrications will affect my relationship with building our armed forces and the Popular Mobilization, as they are both the protectors of the homeland and the safety valve of the political process."
And there were recorded audio leaks, transmitted by social networking sites, that were said to belong to Al-Maliki, which show an unprecedented attack by the latter against the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, and leaders in the Popular Mobilization.
As a result, a number of lawyers submitted, earlier today, a request to inform the Iraqi Public Prosecution regarding the recordings attributed to Al-Maliki, in which he attacked political parties and forces, the army, the police and a number of countries.
