[size=45]The Ministry of Interior of the Kurdistan Regional Government announced, on Tuesday, the adoption of new instructions and procedures regarding telephone and Internet telecommunications companies, in order to regulate their legal status.[/size]
[size=45]The head of the ministry's office, Hemin Mirani, said in a press conference held after a meeting with the directors of telephone and Internet companies, "We decided to adopt new instructions for the sale of communication lines and Internet communication devices, because the line and the device must be in the name of the consumer."[/size]
[size=45]He added, "We have a large number of legal files in this regard, and they must be resolved at the regional level."[/size]
[size=45]He pointed out that "the telecommunications companies must be reconstructed and designed to be under the control of the Ministries of Interior and Communications.[/size]
