Shafaq News/ Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Education in the Kurdistan Regional Government issued a number of decisions to the teachers who had been assigned to the directorates of education, stressing that they must return to their original profession, which is teaching.
According to a ministerial order issued on July 28, and reviewed by Shafak News Agency, it was decided to end the placement of teachers in rare disciplines such as physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and English and to return to the teaching profession, including teachers who held positions such as directors of departments and people’s officials, and their placement had passed two years, They have the choice between changing their job titles from teacher to employee or returning to teaching.
The decision also included the transfer of employees holding diplomas, bachelor's, master's, higher diploma and doctorate degrees from the teaching community to the Diwan of Education Directorates.
It also included stopping the temporary appointment and not renewing the temporary appointment of teachers outside the Ministry of Education, and ending the temporary appointment of teachers appointed from one district center to another district except (the Kurdish Study Directorate in Kirkuk).
The decision obligated teachers who are temporarily appointed to education offices and whose specializations are different from the aforementioned ones, to change their addresses to an employee or to return to teaching.
The decision stressed that the (abolished) teachers of training and rehabilitation and development institutes will not change their addresses in any way to an employee except in cases of the necessary health status according to a health report certified by the Ministry of Health.
The decision prevented holders of higher diploma, master's and doctorate degrees from working as employees in any form anywhere.
The decision indicated that changing the address of the teacher to an employee is exclusively with a health report after approval by the Ministry of Health, accompanied by the phrase (the address must be changed) within the report.
