Today, Sunday, the Arab Parliament welcomed the decision of Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi to suspend parliament sessions.

The parliament said, in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that it "welcomes the decision of the Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament to preserve the security and stability of Iraq and the safety of its citizens."

Yesterday, Saturday, Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi decided to suspend parliament sessions until further notice, while a call was made to Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to protect institutions and protect protesters, in a request for political blocs to hold an urgent national meeting; To achieve an effective and responsible national dialogue whose outcomes are for the sake of the country, and to give priority to its interests over all partisan and factional interests.
