Iraq's delegate to the Arab League Habib al-Sadr on Wednesday welcomed the decision of the Arab League on the referendum of the Kurdistan region of Iraq, which returned it as a "message" to lead the region by rejecting the Arabs for this project.
"The decision of the Ministerial Council of the League of Arab States to reject the draft referendum is a message from all the Arab countries that the Arabs are concerned about this referendum and its consequences and what may follow," Sadr said in remarks to Al-Iraqiya channel. The Arabs stand by the Iraqi government and its procedures. "
"The referendum is a step that hinders the efforts of the Iraqi government to fight terrorism and eliminate it," said Sadr, Iraq's ambassador to Egypt. "The world is waiting for the liberation of what is left of Iraqi territory."
The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, announced the issuance of the University Council a resolution on the referendum in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, indicating that the resolution sticks to the unity of Iraq. Ending / 25
