Today, Tuesday, the head of the Irada movement, MP Hanan Al-Fatlawi, called for the judiciary to be kept away from political disputes.

Al-Fatlawi said in a tweet, which was followed by Alsumaria News, that "the judiciary has said its word more than once: We have no authority to dissolve parliament ... why do some people try to force the judiciary into political disputes."

He continued, "Leave the judiciary, as it is the only legitimate and uninterrupted authority left!! Do you want to finish off the rest of the state? If you want a way out, you have nothing but the constitution and its mechanisms."

And the Supreme Judicial Council decided, earlier today, Tuesday, to suspend its work, its courts and the Federal Court in protest against the demonstrations.
The Supreme Judicial Council also announced the initiation of procedures for collecting evidence about the threat of the Federal Court.
In a statement, the council said, "The First Karkh Investigation Court has started procedures for collecting evidence of the crime of threatening the Federal Court to take legal measures against the perpetrators."
