The Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Shakhwan Abdullah, announced that parliament employees will return to their work as of tomorrow, Wednesday (August 30, 2022), indicating that Parliament will resume its work gradually, but that holding the parliament session requires a "political understanding."
Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Shakhwan Abdullah, said: "Muqtada al-Sadr's speech today contributed to calming the situation, and it was more like a reference speech, rather than a political one, because it was independent."
