[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]37 minutes ago20Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Transport announced a plan to visit the forty days of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), which will focus on three axes, while indicating the participation of 20 trains in the plan.
The Director General of the Iraq Railways Company, Talib Jawad Al-Husseini, said that "the engineering and technical staff have started to complete the rehabilitation and readiness to secure the means of transportation for visitors and from the various provinces through which the railways pass."
He explained, "The company's plan for the current year focuses on three axes. The first axis includes the road from Baghdad to Holy Karbala, and the second is from Suq Al-Shuyoukh, Nasiriyah and Diwaniyah to Holy Karbala, and the third axis will be from Basra Governorate to Holy Karbala and vice versa."
He added, "The staffs will be constantly present at the stations, in order to provide the best services to visitors," calling on "visitors and travelers to take care of railway property, as these trains work to serve everyone."
He also directed, "It is necessary for motorists to be careful and careful at the crossing corridors with the railways, in order to ensure the mechanism for the safe return of visitors after performing the ceremony of visiting Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)."
He continued, "The number of trains participating in transporting visitors reached 20, some of them French, others Chinese and Turkish, and they are modern, which have been rehabilitated by the technical and engineering cadres of the General Company for Railways."
