    Blinken met Friday morning over a breakfast party with the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, in addition to the foreign ministers of Iraq, Egypt and Jordan
    [size=45]A US State Department spokesperson confirmed to Al-Hurra that Washington encourages Arab countries to normalize with Israel.[/size]
    [size=45]The regional spokesman for the US State Department added to Al-Hurra that the United States welcomes the statements of Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid about his support for the two-state solution.[/size]
    [size=45]The spokesman pointed out that "the path to peace between Israel and the Palestinians is not easy, but the two peoples deserve to live in peace," noting that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken's meeting with Arab foreign ministers, on Friday, dealt with issues of common concern.[/size]
    [size=45]The regional spokesman for the US State Department also said that Washington condemns the Tehran authorities' repression of the protests of its people.[/size]
