The Minister of Oil asked the court to postpone his obligation to implement the decision of the Federal Court, which canceled the decision to establish the National Oil Company for a period of one year, claiming that the transfer of its functions, powers and financial guarantees requires this time, and the minister knows that the effect of the court’s decisions is direct, and this request is evidence of his failure to implement the court’s decision And evidence of his harming the interests of the state and its money after canceling the company, and this is evidence of two crimes after that. The Federal Court rejected his request, which means that the company's cancellation is effective from the date of the decision.
The law is above all, and Iraqis are equal before it, and therefore we hope that he will be held accountable for all the crimes related to the company's founding and its contracts, and the crimes he committed after the abolition of its incorporation.
