The Parliamentary Integrity Committee announced its reservations about the performance of the head of the National Investment Commission, calling on the House of Representatives and the government to reconsider the commission’s work and procedures.
The Parliamentary Integrity Committee discussed, during its joint meeting today, Wednesday, with the Chairman of the National Investment Authority Suha Al-Najjar, in the presence of the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, the incident of the collapse of the National Laboratory building in Karrada, as well as the mechanism for granting investment and bureaucratic licenses that impede the granting of strategic investment licenses with positive returns to the economy of the country and the citizen .
Members of the Parliamentary Committee asked many questions regarding the statements of the head of the commission about the collapse of other buildings and the corruption files it announced, as well as her statement about the role of foreign workers in the infiltration of terrorists into Iraq, and about the actions of the head of the commission in combating that.
