Today, Saturday, the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers confirmed that the decision of 100% official working hours includes all government institutions, and while it denied the existence of exceptions for some departments, it stressed that employees and auditors of departments must present the vaccine card or PCR examination.
A spokesman for the General Secretariat, Haider Majid, said, "The recent circulars issued by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers set the percentage of official working hours for all employees in official institutions, ministries, and entities not associated with the ministry and the governorates at 100% without exception."
He added, "The decision includes all official institutions, pointing out that" government institutions have been directed to take (Covid-19) vaccines for all employees, and in the event that any employee refuses to take the vaccine, a (PCR) examination certificate must be brought, with a validity of only one week, and issued by the health institution. In the event that the employee is unable to take the vaccine due to health symptoms, he must obtain a medical report in this regard from a health institution, but he is also obligated to submit a weekly PCR examination.”
Regarding citizens’ review of state departments, Majid stressed that they must “carry a vaccination card or a PCR examination whose validity does not exceed one week.” Al-Wahid, explaining that “the instructions are binding on all official institutions, citizens and the general public, holding official institutions responsible for violating the instructions issued in this regard.”
Earlier, the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers specified the percentage of employees working in government institutions, ministries and agencies not associated with all ministries.
A statement of the secretariat, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated, "Later on the decisions of the Supreme Committee for Health and National Safety (combating the Corona Virus pandemic) (21 of 2021, paragraph 6) and (25 of 2021, paragraph 2), and because the disease has become societal at the present time, It was decided that the official working hours of employees in government institutions, ministries, and agencies not associated with all ministries, shall be at an amount of (100%).
He stressed, "All employees are required to bring a vaccine card that proves that they have been vaccinated with one of the (Covid-19) vaccines, with the exception of those who have special cases that prevent him from being vaccinated, supported by medical reports from the competent committees, and obligating him to bring a negative (PCR) examination conducted within (72) hours, to prove He did not have Covid-19 disease. He pointed out that "the directive includes that all government institutions search for all their employees to be vaccinated with the (Covid-19) vaccine, as well as the auditors, in implementation of paragraph (7) of the decision of the Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety (16 of 2021).
He explained, "The directive held government institutions responsible for implementing the procedures contained in the directive, and for following up on their employees."
