    His Excellency the President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received today, Thursday, November 3, 2022, at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, the National Security Adviser, Mr. Qassem Al-Araji, with a number of senior officials of the Chancellery, who offered congratulations to His Excellency on the occasion of assuming his duties as President of the Republic.
    The President expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the kind congratulations, stressing the need to consolidate security and stability in the country and preserve the security gains achieved through developing security performance, activating intelligence work, and making unremitting efforts to hunt down the remnants of terrorism.
    The President of the Republic indicated that everyone should unite efforts to support the work of the security services and support them to perform their national duties to establish security and safety in the country, pointing to the importance of the return of the displaced to their areas and the provision of basic services and an appropriate atmosphere for them.
    The National Security Adviser reviewed future plans and programs to advance the work of the chancellery and the efforts it is making, in coordination with other security agencies, to enhance security and ensure the safety of all Iraqis.
