[size=45]Today, Thursday, Iraqi Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi congratulated Kurdish leader Masoud Barzani on the convening of the 14th Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, praising President Barzani's struggle "through a march full of dedication, effort and sacrifice."[/size]
[size=45]The Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives sent a cable of congratulations to President Barzani on the occasion of the 14th Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the renewal of confidence in him as president, according to a statement issued by Al-Halbousi's media office.[/size]
[size=45]The text of the congratulation stated: "We extend our sincerest congratulations and blessings on the occasion of the convening of the fourteenth conference of the Kurdistan Democratic Party under the slogan (renewal - justice - coexistence), your re-election and the renewal of confidence in you as party leader."[/size]
