    Alsumaria News - Politics
    The Iraqi Council of Representatives began today, Sunday, the first reading of the draft federal civil service law.


    The Media Department of the House of Representatives said in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that "the House of Representatives began with the first reading of the draft federal civil service law."
     
    A short while ago, Alsumaria News published the names of the deputies who took the constitutional oath in today's session, which includes the first reading of the draft laws on civil service, military service (compulsory conscription) and child protection.





     
    The Media Department of the House of Representatives stated in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that "the new deputies took the constitutional oath inside the parliament hall."
     
    The statement added, "The deputies are: Jawad Kadum Mutlaq, Ali Saadoun Ghulam, Talib Abdul Karim Mahmoud Al-Mamari, Karim Aliwi Jaroush, Suad Abdul-Hussein Al-Maliki, Sahera Abdullah Al-Jubouri and Wahba Jarjis."
     
    Earlier, Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi inaugurated the work of the eighth session, which includes the first reading of the draft laws on civil service, science service (compulsory conscription) and child protection.

     
    A statement by the Media Department of the House of Representatives, received by Alsumaria News, stated that "Al-Halbousi opened the work of the eighth session of the fifth electoral cycle - the first legislative year - the second legislative term."
