[size=45]His Excellency the President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, returned today, Tuesday, November 8, 2022, to the capital, Baghdad, after his participation in the work of the United Nations Climate Summit COP 27, which was held in Sharm El-Sheikh in the Arab Republic of Egypt.[/size]
[size=45]The President of the Republic delivered a speech at the summit, in which he reviewed the challenges facing Iraq related to water scarcity, and its negative effects on agriculture, marshes and life.[/size]
[size=45]His Excellency also touched on the solutions developed in Iraq to meet these challenges, stressing the importance of coordinating the humanitarian effort to devote effective partnership in order to preserve life.[/size]
[size=45]His Excellency attended meetings on the sidelines of the summit and held meetings with a number of leaders and heads of delegations of brotherly and friendly countries.[/size]
