    The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities confirmed, on Tuesday, that it will double its work to complete the Dora-Yusufiyah road project during the next two months, while noting that it will contribute to relieving part of the traffic jams. 
    The Director General of the Roads and Bridges Department at the Ministry, Hussein Jassim, told the official news agency, "The Minister's involvement in the Fast Dora-Yusufiyah project contains two evidences. The first is the minister's keenness to advance progress in ministerial projects, and the second evidence is the importance of This project, being the minister's first task, was his visit to the project.
     He added, "The Dora-Yusufiya project is of great importance, and will contribute to removing an important part of the traffic jams in Baghdad, as it is a highway, and the highway will be implemented with high specifications."
    He pointed out that "the Minister of Reconstruction requested a program for the progress of the project's work in detail, and he expressed observations and directives on this visit, so we will work hard to complete it to the fullest." The asphalt works and planning have been largely completed.
    He pointed out that "the Minister of Construction directed to double the works and working hours to the maximum possible period, as there is an overlap in all works, such as planning work, protective fencing, bridge works, joints, concrete and the rest of the intersections, in addition to asphalt works of both types, bonding and surface."
    He continued, "The amount of asphalt offered arrived yesterday for the project, weighing 5,000 tons, which is a very large amount, which is evidence of the ministry's mobilization with all its cadres and departments," stressing that "the ministry's cadres are making intense efforts to complete this road project on time, that is, within two months." next, or less than that. Ended 29/N33
