    Shafaq News/ The German National Security Adviser, Jens Plotner, expressed, on Wednesday, his country's aspiration to strengthen relations with Iraq.
    This came during a meeting he had with Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani, according to what was announced by the media office of the latter.



    The statement added that Plotner conveyed the greetings of the German Sudanese leadership, and conveyed to him an invitation from the German Chancellor to visit the capital, Berlin.

    The Prime Minister stressed the importance of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, and Iraq's desire to develop them in the fields of economy and energy, and called on German companies to invest in Iraq in various fields, in light of the investment environment provided by Iraq.
    During the meeting, Al-Sudani praised Germany's efforts and its cooperation with Iraq within the international coalition in the war against ISIS terrorist gangs, and the continuation of this cooperation in the framework of advice and training.
    For his part, the German National Security Adviser confirmed his country's desire for more cooperation
    In various fields, foremost of which is energy and clean energy, and the aspiration to consolidate relations with Iraq because of the geographical, civilizational and cultural weight it represents.
