    Today, Friday, the Municipality of Baghdad announced a major campaign to remove traffic jams in the next stage, while referring to the government's direction to establish bridges and tunnels and implement strategic projects in the capital.
    “A meeting was held between the Baghdad Municipality, the Ministry of Construction and Housing and the Baghdad Governorate, as a result of which a real diagnosis was made and quick solutions were developed for the next stage regarding the implementation of bridge and tunnel projects in Baghdad ,” said the municipality’s spokesman, Muhammad al-Rubaie, to the official channel, followed by (Al-Oula News).
    He added, "The Ministry of Reconstruction promised to complete the fourth annular project, which connects around Baghdad, Al-Shaab City, Al-Ma'mal, Al-Sadr City, the Seven Palaces, Bob Al-Sham, and Al-Muthanna Airport, and enters Baghdad Airport, Al-Sayedia, and Al-Bayaa, and is connected to Al-Dora.”
    He pointed out that "discussions are underway about constructing a bridge from the Jadriya Bridge that connects Al-Hassanin Square," pointing out that "the next stage will include the completion of the two-storey bridge linking the Dora area in Karkh and the Karrada area , Al-Hassanin Square in Rusafa.”
    He explained: “There is another arm in the two-storey bridge that has not been completed since the time of the previous regime. The Ministry of Housing and the Municipality of Baghdad pledged to complete this bridge,” noting that “its completion will solve a problem and reduce congestion in those streets.”
    And he added, “There are 3 other bridges that will connect Al-Bayaa, the express line, Saydia, the express line, Alwat Al-Rashid and the express line, as well as solutions to the congestion of Muhammad Al-Qasim Road, stressing that “the meeting included the formation of a joint committee to implement projects in the next year.”
    He continued, "A major campaign will be witnessed in Baghdad at the end of next year to remove traffic jams, in addition to strategic projects in the field of roads and bridges."
