The Iraqi General Company for Exhibitions and Commercial Services confirmed its continuation of supporting specialized exhibitions inside Iraq due to their importance in moving the wheel of economic activity and supporting construction and investment projects inside the country.
The general manager of the company, Zahra Al-Gilani, said in a statement received by the company (Al-Oula News) that “international exhibitions specialized in the field of industry, agriculture and women were held in the provinces, with the participation of many Arab and international countries, and that this is a big step towards opening up the Iraqi market to the world.”
Al-Kilani confirmed the presence of a great response by international countries in participating with their discreet companies specialized in the fields of investment, construction and industry in the upcoming international and specialized exhibitions, indicating that the stable security situation and the stability of the Iraqi market are among the most important factors affecting the volume of international participation.
Al-Gilani believed that Iraq had recovered economically recently, as domestic production began to grow gradually, which cast a shadow over the acceptability and gaining international confidence in the Iraqi product, adding: “Iraq's participation in the Halal exhibition that was held in Istanbul recently, and its ranking first among 40 countries Participation is realistic evidence that the local product has achieved sufficient satisfaction for countries that intend to import products manufactured in Iraq.
