, the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate appreciated, on Monday, the decision of the Minister of Health, Saleh Al-Hasnawi, to approve the union's request to include journalists and their families who are members of the union in free treatment in the private wards of government hospitals and exempt them from surgical fees.
The union added, in a statement received by Mawazine News, that "this decision comes as recognition from the Ministry of Health for the active role of the Journalists Syndicate and the Iraqi journalistic family, which is working hard to perform its professional and national duty for the sake of free and honest speech."
The Syndicate stressed, "the necessity of full cooperation with the Ministry of Health and its institutions in order to preserve this humanitarian achievement." Ended 29/N33
