The Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed the details of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, in its second session, which will be held tomorrow in Jordan.
The ministry's spokesman, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, said, "The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will host the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership in its second session on the twentieth of December 2022 at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center / Sear Dead."
He added, "The conference will be held to confirm the support of the participating countries for Iraq in several files, including Iraq's sovereignty, security and stability, support for the political process, the economic and development process and reconstruction, in a way that meets the aspirations of the Iraqi people," noting that "the objectives of the summit are that the conference will discuss ways to support Iraq." He continued, "In addition to developing regional cooperation mechanisms with Iraq in a number of areas that include combating terrorism, food security, water security, energy and other areas that contribute to supporting it, in addition to discussing regional cooperation mechanisms that achieve integration, security and stability in the region."
